Sky Soccer NY is set to become a powerhouse in the region, providing players with exceptional opportunities to grow and develop their skills both on and off the
field.
We will field teams for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 seasons with tryouts scheduled for March 29/30th being held at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
The club will feature USSF and UEFA-licensed coaches, ensuring players receive elite-level instruction to guide them through their soccer journey.
Sky Soccer NY will compete in the highly regarded EDP League, providing athletes with the chance to test themselves against top talent.
Our goal is to create a club that emphasizes not just skill development, but also sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game.
About our Founder and Director of Soccer
Sanel Klincevic
Born in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sanel Klincevic moved to Germany at the age of six, where his soccer journey began. He played at a high level in German academy programs, receiving professional coaching and developing a deep understanding of the game.
At 16, he relocated to New York, where he continued his playing career in high school and college. With over 15 years of coaching experience, Sanel has worked with players of all ages, from U6 to U18, helping them develop both technically and tactically.
For the past four years, he has successfully run Sky Soccer NY camps and clinics, providing high-quality training to young athletes in the region. In addition to leading Sky Soccer NY, he currently serves as the head coach of the Dobbs Ferry High School boys’ varsity soccer program, bringing his expertise and passion for the game to the next generation of players.
Sanel brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to the club, combining his extensive experience as a former player, a coach and most importantly, as a parent of a teenage soccer player who has been deeply involved in the soccer landscape for nearly a decade. Sanel’s firsthand experience across multiple roles gives him a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by players, parents, and coaches alike.
His vision for SkySoccer NY is rooted in creating a nurturing yet challenging environment where athletes can thrive, regardless of their age or skill level. By blending his passion for the game with a parent’s perspective, Sanel is committed to providing a comprehensive soccer experience that prioritizes player development, family involvement, and a positive community atmosphere.

Based out of The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, Sky Soccer NY boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a full-size turf field, four meticulously maintained grass fields, and outstanding indoor training spaces.
